Notice for travelers to Turkey

From March 15, all travelers from 6 years of age arriving in Turkey by air must electronically complete the “Form for Entry to Turkey” within 72 hours prior to flight departure to Turkey via register.health.gov.tr

This does not apply to passengers in transit. Everyone who completes this form is automatically assigned a personal HES code.

To access certain public places such as shopping malls, markets or restaurants, check into a hotel and travel between Turkish cities by plane, train or bus, one must have a HES code (from the name of the "Hayat Eve Sığar" application).

This code can be obtained after arrival in Turkish territory and only with a Turkish telephone number.

We may be able to sit on the terrace in April and go abroad again next summer. Travel to Southern Europe or Turkey has increased, the number of bookings with travel agency TUI has doubled last week.

Travel organization TUI is seeing a revival. The company reports that the number of bookings has doubled compared to last week.

"It seems that the wait-and-see attitude has made way for concrete holiday plans." Popular sun destinations according to the travel company are Greece, Spain, Turkey and Curaçao.
